This time of the year features relatively stable Himalayan weather, moderate temperatures, clear skies, and dry trekking trail conditions.

In addition to spring and autumn, the Manaslu Tsum Valley Hike, located in one of Nepal's rain shadow areas in the trans-Himalayan region, can also be a good option during the monsoon or summer months. While it rains frequently in other trekking regions of Nepal, often leading to muddy and slippery trails, the Manaslu Tsum Valley Hiking route remains dry and accessible.

Where do you get food and accommodation during the trek to Manaslu Tsum Valley in Nepal?

During the Manaslu Tsum Valley Trek, teahouses, lodges, and guesthouses along the trekking trail, like those in any other trekking region of the country, are what provide you with daily meals and a place to stay. The most common form of accommodation is teahouses, which generally have rooms consisting of twin beds providing you with basic bedding like pillows, blankets, and mattresses.

Rooms, bathrooms, and toilets are usually on a shared basis to provide you comfortable stay in such a rugged and remote region. With an increased altitude, expect food options to be limited to typical Nepalese and Tibetan dishes, enough to keep you refueled and energized for the entire trip.

To make sure your device is well-charged, consider carrying a high-voltage power bank. Other than that, such as hot showers, usually refer to a bucketful of lukewarm water with a jug, and private rooms might be available in the lower altitude region at some extra cost, especially due to the remote nature of the Manaslu Tsum Valley Trek.
